In Lords Mobile, training troops is crucial for strengthening your army, protecting your territory, and attacking enemies. However, not every player knows how to train troops efficiently, especially new players and free-to-play players. Below is a detailed guide to help you build your army properly while avoiding wasted resources and time.

1. Start with T2 – The Ideal Choice for New Players

New players and free-to-play players should not prioritize training T1 troops, as T1 troops are only useful for a very short period at the beginning and do not provide lasting strength. Instead, T2 is the optimal choice. T2 troops are significantly stronger than T1 troops, reasonably priced, and better able to defend against enemy attacks.

You should train all three types of T2 troops—infantry, ranged, and cavalry—in equal proportions to create a balanced army. This ensures that you can deal with various types of enemy troops and respond more easily in battle.

2. Optimize the Number of T2 Troops

To build a strong force, you need to train around 2 to 3 million T2 troops of each type. This amount ensures that you have enough troops to defend, join rallies, and support your guildmates. If you focus on only one type of troop, you can easily be defeated by a stronger opponent with a more versatile army.

3. Choose the Troop Type That Suits Your Strategy

Choose the troop type that best suits your strategy. If you prefer a fast-paced, offensive playstyle, cavalry is a good choice. If you prefer a strong defensive playstyle, infantry and ranged troops are more suitable. This helps you optimize the resources and time spent training troops.
