If you’re looking for a highly effective general who can climb the rankings with ease and clear stages effortlessly, Liu Bei is always the number-one choice in every Commander’s heart. Liu Bei checks all the boxes: easy to develop, easy to build a team around, and increasingly valuable as the game progresses.

The core lineup revolves around the Liu Bei–Guan Yu–Zhang Fei trio to activate the Peach Garden formation, giving the team a balance between offense and defense. You can add SSR+ Zhao Yun through the first top-up, while also participating in cumulative top-up events to obtain SSR+ Zhuge Liang and SSR A Dou, taking the lineup’s power to a whole new level.

An Overpowered Peach Garden Lineup

For players with a bigger budget, we recommend completing the Five Tiger Generals lineup with Ma Chao and Huang Zhong. This grants the team all of the available buffs, especially the effect that gives skills a chance to activate twice, greatly increasing burst damage. Heroes such as A Dou, Ma Chao, and Huang Zhong can all be upgraded to SSR+ later on.

An Invincible Five Tiger Generals Lineup

Recommended top-up order: get Zhao Yun from the first top-up, take advantage of the early-game promotions to accumulate rewards and obtain Ma Chao, then purchase Zhang Fei and the Huang Zhong pack, draw SSR+ Guan Yu, get Pang Tong as your strategist, and finally wait for events to obtain A Dou and Zhuge Liang.

Build Liu Bei the right way, and a Shu lineup will offer well-rounded offense and defense, consistent PvE performance, effective PvP results, and a hard counter to the Wu Archer lineups that are currently popular.
