3—COMBAT TERMS

Basic Attack

Basic Attacks are the attacks you will use most often to defeat enemies in the game. Although they do not deal much damage, they generate Energy for your Special Attacks.

Dodge

Dodge allows you to evade enemy attacks. Using Dodge makes your character invulnerable for a few seconds. Keep in mind that Dodge has a 6-millisecond cooldown, so you cannot move continuously. There are also three types of Dodge: Dodge, Dodge Attack, and Dodge Counter.

Special Attack

Each character has two types of Special Attacks: regular and EX. With a regular Special Attack, the character can use the skill without having to build up enough Energy.

For an EX Special Attack, you need to have enough Energy to activate it. EX Special Attacks last longer, deal more damage, and come with several additional special effects.

Core

This is the character’s passive ability. Each character has five Core Passives. We will explain them in greater detail in each character’s dedicated section.

Daze

Also known as the Daze gauge, this bar is located directly beneath an enemy’s HP bar. It fills whenever your character lands an attack on the enemy. When the Daze gauge reaches 100%, the enemy will be stunned for a few seconds.

4—OTHER TERMS

Gacha: A system for obtaining characters and weapons using Wish Stones.
Exploration: Exploring different areas within Hollows to collect resources and complete missions.
Story: The game’s main storyline, revolving around the fight against Hollows and Ethereals.
