RISE OF KINGDOMS | 开发者对谈

----------------------------------------------------------

"Recently, with quite a few new features being released, the development team has received numerous suggestions and questions. We have selected several topics that have been hotly discussed among governors in the community to address and share our plans for future development. We hope this will answer your questions. If you have any thoughts about these topics, we welcome you to discuss them in the community. Every opinion you share is extremely important to us."

----------------------------------------------------------

Q1: The special immigration adjustment plan is unclear. We hope you can explain it in greater detail.

A1: We sincerely apologize. In our previous community explanation, we were unable to clearly explain special immigration, leaving many governors scratching their heads.

The special immigration adjustments are as follows:

1) After the adjustment, special immigration will no longer require [Special Immigration Quotas]. Instead, it will use [Special Immigration Points].

2) Whenever a KvK ends, the system will distribute [Special Immigration Points] through the following methods:

– The kingdom will receive a certain number of Special Immigration Points.

– Based on the [total number of deaths among the top 300 governors on the Lost Kingdom Individual Deaths Ranking (both the ranking and total figures are based on the final tally of deaths of Tier 4 and above units)], the system will distribute an additional number of Special Immigration Points.

3) The rules for applying for and approving special immigration will remain unchanged.

4) Special Immigration Points will only be consumed after special immigration is successfully completed. Governors with different power levels will consume different amounts of Special Immigration Points.

Q2: How will the game improve the experience of new kingdoms?

A2: Thank you for your concern about the new kingdom experience. Improving the gameplay experience of new kingdoms has always been one of our priorities, and we have been continuously optimizing it. Recently, we conducted a special survey targeting several new kingdoms in the Season of Conquest. The main issues raised by most governors were as follows:

– Governors immigrating into the kingdom are too powerful, making things unfair for the governors already there.

– During KvK, when matched against older kingdoms, most governors in new kingdoms struggle to keep up.

For now, we will focus on [immigration] and [storyline matchmaking] to improve the new kingdom experience.

Regarding the immigration system, we will adjust the [off-season immigration rules for Season 2 and Season 3] and the [in-season immigration rules for Season 4 (the first Season of Conquest kingdom)]. Our current plans are as follows:

1) Off-season immigration to Season 2: An additional requirement will apply: [The age of the character applying for immigration must not exceed the age of the target kingdom by more than 120 days].

2) Off-season immigration to Season 3: An additional requirement will apply: [The age of the character applying for immigration must not exceed the age of the target kingdom by more than 180 days].

3) In-season immigration to Season 4: An additional requirement will apply: [The age of the character applying for immigration must not exceed the age of the target kingdom by more than 240 days].

At the same time, we will also appropriately adjust the quotas for the immigration methods mentioned above.

Regarding storyline matchmaking, we will adjust matchmaking for [kingdoms that have completed Season 4]. When these kingdoms experience the regular Season of Conquest storyline for the first time, we will try to match them with opponents whose kingdom ages are as close as possible.

We hope these adjustments will give governors in new kingdoms sufficient time to develop, allowing kingdoms and governors to experience a relatively smooth transition before entering the regular Season of Conquest.

Q3: The "guaranteed" experience when drawing underperforming armaments is frustrating. Even with the guarantee for armaments with special inscriptions, it is still possible to receive a special inscription that has already been obtained, making certain armaments with special inscriptions extremely difficult to acquire. We hope this system can be improved.

A3: We apologize for the poor experience that the armament guarantee mechanism has caused governors. In light of relevant community feedback, we plan to adjust the guaranteed special-inscription experience for armaments. Our preliminary plan is as follows:

1) The guarantee rule for rare inscriptions will remain unchanged: after receiving up to 150 consecutive legendary armaments for the current formation, you are guaranteed to receive an armament with a rare inscription for that formation.

2) We will optimize the guarantee rule for special inscriptions: the armament special-inscription guarantee will be changed from [an armament with a special inscription, random type] to [an armament with a special inscription, selectable type (i.e., scroll, musical instrument, etc.)].

After drawing armaments for a formation and reaching a certain number of rare-inscription armaments for that formation, governors will be able to choose an armament type and receive an armament with a special inscription of that type for the formation. We will also display [the number of consecutive rare-inscription armaments received by a governor for a formation] in the Armament system. The total will reset after a special-inscription armament is selected.

Finally, based on each governor's armament-drawing data, we will send compensation gifts after this optimization goes live. The specific compensation plan is still being finalized.

----------------------------------------------------------

We care deeply about the issues raised by governors. The three plans above are the preliminary solutions we are considering. If you have any other feedback on these topics or the game, please let us know through the game's official community or Customer Support. We will continue collecting governors' feedback, adjusting our plans accordingly, and doing our best to provide governors with a better experience.

Once again, thank you to all governors for supporting Rise of Kingdoms. We wish you an enjoyable gaming experience!
