Legendary Commander Exchange Feature FAQ

We have received many questions from Governors about this new feature. Below are some of the most frequently asked questions we have collected, along with our answers.

-------------------------------------

What do I need to exchange commanders? How much does it cost?

You will need Legendary Exchange Tickets to exchange commanders. The greater the difference in skill levels between the two commanders, the more tickets are required. For example, exchanging a fully skilled commander for a "1111" commander costs 120 tickets, while exchanging them for a "5551" commander costs only 2 tickets.

How to Obtain Legendary Exchange Tickets:

Method 1:

Purchase them with Gems. Each ticket costs 100 Gems. You can purchase a maximum of 120 tickets with Gems.

Method 2:

Purchase the New Faces Bundle. Each bundle costs USD 4.99 and contains 12 tickets. You can obtain a maximum of 120 tickets this way.

Suppose I exchange a "5511" commander with a "1111" King Arthur to obtain a "5511" King Arthur.

Then, I exchange the "5511" King Arthur with a fully skilled commander. Can I obtain a fully skilled King Arthur this way?

This is not possible. Each commander can only be exchanged once, as stated during the Developer Live Q&A on November 27.

Additional Information:

You can exchange commanders only twice, meaning you can exchange a maximum of two pairs of commanders. Exchanges cannot be undone.

If you migrate during this event, you will no longer be able to participate, regardless of whether you participated in your original kingdom.

When will the commander exchange feature become available? How long will the event last?

The Legendary Commander Exchange Event will be tested in select kingdoms on January 8, before being released to all kingdoms as early as January 10.

If your kingdom is more than 3 days away from the end of Season 2, the event will begin 3 days before the end of Season 2.

The event will last for 5 days after it is activated.

*The schedule above supersedes any previous announcements.

I have a maxed-out Charles Martel and 600 Charles Martel sculptures. If I exchange him, will I lose those sculptures?

No, you will keep those sculptures.

If I am using King Arthur's trial version, can I use him for an exchange?

You can exchange King Arthur only if you have recruited him yourself. Here are a few important points to note:

- You cannot recruit King Arthur during his trial period, but you can recruit him before the trial begins. If you exchange King Arthur during the trial period, his level will be based on your own copy of King Arthur, not the level of the trial version.

- King Arthur's trial period lasts 4 days, while the Legendary Commander Exchange Event lasts 5 days. Even if you start the trial at the beginning of the Legendary Commander Exchange Event, you can still recruit and exchange King Arthur after his trial period ends.

If I am in a Season 2 kingdom, how can I obtain Conquest commanders for an exchange?

We will launch the Heroes Assemble event alongside the Legendary Commander Exchange Event. During this event, you can complete quests and earn points to receive Conquest commanders.

Can I obtain King Arthur during the Legendary Commander Exchange Event?

Yes. You can obtain King Arthur by completing quests in the King's Challenge event.

If I do not exchange any commanders during the event, can I exchange commanders later?

No. Regardless of whether you use your exchange opportunity during the event, you will not be able to exchange commanders after the event ends.

Can I use King Arthur for an exchange?

Arthur can be used for an exchange.

Can I reset Zhuge Liang from "5551" to "1111" and then exchange him for a maxed-out commander?

No. Commanders with unallocated skill points cannot be exchanged.

Is the number of Legendary Exchange Tickets required affected by a commander's rank or star level?

No, these factors have no effect.

Does the Legendary Commander Exchange Event include commanders from all generations? Is there a City Hall level requirement?

Yes. You can exchange Legendary commanders from any generation, provided that you have permanently recruited them. Your City Hall must be at least level 8 to participate in this event.
