Mount Wuliang is a core game mode in The Blood of Youth, as well as the ultimate proving ground for testing your team’s depth and tactical prowess. Faced with a series of increasingly challenging stages, efficiently conquering higher levels has become a major focus for many martial heroes.

This guide introduces tips for battle-position placement and recommended heroes, helping players develop their characters and adjust their lineup and positioning more effectively.

I. Pre-Battle Preparation

Observe the enemy lineup and arrange your team based on the opponent’s primary damage dealers and the number of front- and back-row characters. Tap on each individual hero to view both sides’ attack ranges. At the same time, pay attention to the enemy’s lineup composition and deploy heroes capable of countering it to dismantle their formation.

II. Recommended Heroes & Their Features

1. Bai Fa Xian: Can counter the enemy’s healing, reduce the amount of healing received, and convert healing effects into damage.

2. Lei Ying: Draws the enemy’s basic attacks, quickly making herself the hero with the lowest HP so she can absorb heavy damage from the opponent’s single-target skills.

3. Mu Liangyue: Puts the opposing hero to sleep as soon as the battle begins and reduces their Rage, effectively locking down the enemy’s primary damage dealer (CARRY).

4. Lei Tianhu: His passive skill prevents him from being defeated when he is about to be taken down, allowing him to remain standing for one turn until his next attack. Against teams with no effect-cleansing abilities, he can forcibly absorb all incoming fire for one turn.

5. Xiao Lingchen: Marks the enemy in the same position for Focus when entering battle, causing our side’s basic attacks to prioritize that target.

6. Jin Xian: Attacks the back row while reducing their Speed and Rage. On stages with many back-row enemies, pairing him with the Qi Gathering Mind Method can significantly reduce the opponent’s damage output.

III. Positioning Techniques

When the opponent has multiple heroes specializing in back-row attacks, arrange your formation from left to right in a 3–1–1 setup. Place a defensive hero in the back row to protect the team, as shown in the formation example.

When the opponent has multiple heroes that attack the front row, arrange your formation in a 3–1–1 setup. Place a defensive hero in the front row to protect the team, giving your back-row damage dealers more room to unleash their attacks.
