Zenless Zone Zero has been updated to Version 1.3, and the steady stream of Anomaly characters is creating a new wave of excitement in the player community. With outstanding advantages in combat mechanics and the ease of optimizing team compositions, Anomaly is gradually establishing itself as one of the game’s strongest attributes.

Here are the reasons why Anomaly is becoming a top-tier choice that you shouldn’t overlook in Zenless Zone Zero 1.3.

A Large Roster of Characters

In Zenless Zone Zero, 4 of the 9 characters currently available belong to the Anomaly attribute, meaning they make up nearly half of the game’s roster. This reflects the developers’ intention to create more diverse gameplay. Rather than relying on attributes such as Attack, Defense, or Stun, Anomaly offers a unique combat style with special effects that can stagger enemies and increase damage.

A Different Kind of Experience

One of the factors that makes Zenless Zone Zero so appealing is its Anomaly system, which clearly sets the game apart from others in the genre. Anomaly functions as a reaction system similar to the elemental system in Genshin Impact, allowing you to combine effects to create powerful chains of damage.

With Anomaly, players can create effective combos and enhance their ability to control the battlefield, making combat much more engaging and creative.

Beginner-Friendly

One of the reasons Anomaly has become so popular is that it is accessible to new players. Anomaly characters do not require premium W-Engines or high-end gear. With free or easily crafted equipment, players can build a powerful team without having to invest too many resources.

This makes Anomaly particularly appealing to newcomers and to anyone looking to optimize their gameplay experience without spending too much.

A Replacement for Burst-Damage Teams

While other attributes require heavy investment in CRIT stats to maximize damage, Anomaly allows players to achieve strong results with less effort. Anomaly characters only need basic stats to unlock their full potential, creating a clear contrast with teams that rely on CRIT stats. With Anomaly, players only need to focus on the key stats, maximizing damage without depending on rare equipment.

Less Likely to Fall Out of the Meta

The steady release of Anomaly characters not only gives players more options but also increases the value of older characters. With each new Anomaly character, team synergy improves as well, helping maximize the strength of existing team compositions. This is a smart strategy that eases concerns about characters falling behind as new versions are released.

By continually adding new Anomaly characters, Zenless Zone Zero ensures that your team remains valuable for a long time.
