Zenless Zone Zero (ZZZ) is a new game from miHoYo. To help you get off to a smooth start, here are some important tips to keep in mind before you dive in.

1. Daily Commissions — Don’t Miss Them

The first thing to remember when playing Zenless Zone Zero is to complete your daily commissions. They’re how you earn activity points and Polychromes, the equivalent of Primogems in other miHoYo games. This is an important resource that will help you progress further, so don’t forget to take care of your daily tasks.

2. Assignment Missions

In the game, you can send characters on exploration or commission assignments. Talk to Bangboo 18 to send them out and receive credits when they return. This system is similar to what you may have seen in previous miHoYo titles like Honkai Impact or Genshin Impact.

3. Daily Scratch Card

Every day, you can complete a scratch-card activity at an easily recognizable spot outside the main character’s home. Look for the blue-clad dog. Remember to scratch the card there—you may receive Polychromes or credits, helping you gather resources more quickly.

4. Free Coffee Every Day

In Zenless Zone Zero, you can get 60 free Energy by drinking coffee every day. This is a useful way to maintain your stamina without waiting for it to recover naturally. It helps you complete stamina-consuming missions more efficiently.

5. Use Your Energy Wisely

One important tip is to spend your Energy on farming EXP materials and in-game currency. As you level up your characters, you’ll need materials to promote them, and Energy is essential for obtaining those resources. However, if you’re still in the early game, use your Energy to farm materials instead of letting it sit unused for too long.

6. Character Level Cap

In Zenless Zone Zero, the maximum character level is only 60, which is lower than in other titles such as Honkai Impact. During the early stages, upgrade the characters you already have so you can clear the game’s initial missions and challenges more easily.
