Zenless Zone Zero has just released Version 1.3, featuring numerous exciting changes, especially the introduction of new characters. Below is a ranking of the top five strongest female characters in the game, based on the latest meta. Let’s explore their strengths and why they are top-tier choices for your team.

Yanagi

Yanagi stands out in Version 1.3 thanks to her powerful Electric damage and Electric effects, which are highly effective for crowd control. She not only deals massive damage but can also stun enemies, helping the team maintain stability.

On top of that, mono-Electric teams are extremely popular among players because they feature several exceptionally overpowered characters. Later stages also frequently pit players against bosses that are weak to Electric damage, making Electric teams incredibly strong in the current Version 1.3 meta.

Burnice

Burnice is one of the standout characters thanks to her powerful Burn abilities and excellent synergy with Fire buffs. This combination boosts her damage and gives her the ability to briefly stun enemies, making her a great choice for players without a dedicated active stunner. With strong damage output in most challenges, Burnice is a top-tier option for taking on enemies weak to Fire.

Caesar

Caesar is an incredibly versatile character who fits into a wide range of teams and consistently provides significant advantages to her allies. She can support other team members by boosting their power and is also highly effective in Yanagi and Burnice teams. Her ability to provide team-wide buffs makes her the perfect support, significantly increasing your damage during battles.

Ellen

Although Ellen faces some difficulties due to her relatively inflexible kit, long cooldowns, and lengthy stamina buildup, she remains a formidable DPS thanks to her insanely powerful Ice damage.

In Version 1.3, even though some stages feature enemies with high Ice resistance, Ellen remains a strong choice for the later stages of various modes, where bosses often have weaknesses to Electric and Ice. Ellen is well worth playing, especially when facing extremely challenging bosses in stages without time limits.

Grace

Grace is highly valued in the current meta for her exceptional ability to build up and trigger Assault attacks. Since she can cycle through her basic attacks in just two turns, Grace is a top-tier choice for creating stun combos and building up Electric damage. With Assault effects receiving a major buff in Version 1.3, Grace has reached a whole new level and become an indispensable character in prolonged battles.
