Zenless Zone Zero’s Version 1.4 update promises groundbreaking changes with the arrival of Hoshimi Miyabi, one of the most highly anticipated characters ever. Miyabi not only boasts a unique kit but also has the potential to form the perfect duo with Soukaku, making them impossible for players to overlook. Let’s take a look at the most notable changes coming in this update!

Miyabi: The Mysterious Void Hunter of Section 6

Hoshimi Miyabi, a Void Hunter from Section 6, is expected to change the way Zenless Zone Zero is played. As an Anomaly Specialty character, Miyabi introduces an entirely new element that many fans predict will combine Ice and Electric.

This unique element not only boosts Miyabi’s power but also opens up exceptional synergy with her Section 6 teammates, especially Soukaku. These changes promise to bring more creative and effective team-building options in Version 1.4.

Miyabi’s Additional Ability and Why Soukaku Matters

Requirements for Activating the Additional Ability

A recent leak revealed that Miyabi’s Additional Ability has been changed. Previously, it required an Anomaly agent on the team, but it now requires either a Support agent or a character from the same faction. This makes Soukaku—who is both a Support character and a member of Section 6—the ideal teammate for Miyabi.

Details of Miyabi’s Additional Ability

Increased Basic Attack Damage: When there is a Support character or a teammate from the same faction on the team, Miyabi’s Frost Moon damage increases by 50%.
Increased Damage with the Disorder Effect: When a character on the team triggers Disorder, Miyabi gains 3 Frostfall points. During the next use of Frost Moon Stance, the Frost Moon Basic Attack ignores 25% of the enemy’s Ice RES.

With these effects, Miyabi can deal massive damage while effectively supporting her teammates, especially when paired with Soukaku.

Soukaku: A Comeback in the Meta

Soukaku, a Section 6 character who debuted in Version 1.0, once held a top-tier position in the meta but gradually lost her appeal. However, with the Version 1.4 update, Soukaku is poised to make a powerful comeback.

Perfect Synergy with Miyabi

Soukaku not only fulfills the requirement for activating Miyabi’s Additional Ability but also boosts Miyabi and the entire team. Soukaku’s M4 reduces the enemy’s Ice RES by 10 points when using Fly the Flag, allowing Miyabi to deal even more damage.

Moreover, when Soukaku activates her Additional Ability, both she and Miyabi gain 20% Ice DMG for 22 seconds, creating an unstoppable combination. This could be the most powerful duo in the game right now, putting Section 6 at the top of the meta.
